FIT // Slim Straight, Mid-Rise

DENIM // 16.75 oz sanforized pure indigo Japanese slub selvedge denim woven in the famous Okayama Prefecture. 100% pure indigo dyed.

The vertical slub pure indigo dye and loose weave construction in the 16.75oz selvedge denim are what makes it so unique. The loose weave construction gives this heavy weight denim a much less starchy and rigid feel, which lends to a less painful break-in process.

Rogue Territory 16.75oz Stanton Slub Jeans Sizing

The first thing i’d like to talk about is the fit of the Stanton. The Stanton is basically Karl/Rogue Territory’s staple fit. I’ve always liked very slim to skinny jeans, not skin tight or jeans that have to be stretchy, but very tapered to at least a 7in leg opening or less if possible. My first pair of Rgt jeans were the 14.5 oz Sk’s (size 29), I absolutely love them! I got these in size 29 and I like the fit just as much if not more! It’s a very flattering fit, especially if you choose to have them be tight up top so they need stretch. I did this and they’re a very slim jean giving a comfortable more traditional look that doesn’t yell out skinny but definitely says fitted. All in all I love this fit!

    Next the denim itself.

It was recommended that with the slubby weight of this denim not much stretch would be attained so you should probably size up from your regular Rgt size (mine is 29). For me the Sk’s (which I would generally go for) wouldn’t work because of this. The fit of the Sk is very right in my calves and partially on my knees (requiring a lot of stretch but producing a fantastic fit). But up top they fit loosely and definitely need a belt (I love this). Because of these reasons (particularly the waist fit) I couldn’t size up with my Sk size so I went for a 29 in the Stanton. The denim is slubby and I find myself feeling it often, I love looking down to see how the Slubs flow, and the jeans produce a beautiful Indigo color! I strongly recommend these jeans especially if you’re wanting a heavier pair of slubby jeans!

I’ve owned so many pairs of selvedge. I love these. I’m a heavy weight denim lover and these fit in quite nicely in the upper middle weights.
Fit true to size in my case. A size 30 fit well giving me a little more slouch room In my undercarriage. 😉
A little long I the inseam but fine by me the stacks will turn out nicely. And I still have a nice cuff.
    Recommended? Highly!
    Another great RGT purchase.

Excellent jeans. I’ve owned Iron Heart and 3Sixteen, and these have been my favorite. I’ve worn them for almost two straight years. Just about to give them their first wash. They’re stubborn faders, and the denim doesn’t “give” like my tinted-weft Rogue pair, but the fit is superb, and the jean is strong! After two years I had to send my Iron Heart 21oz in for repairs, twice! These are still going strong. At 6’2″, I actually wish they would do longer inseams for bigger cuff. You can always hem, but I can’t make the jean longer. Or at least offer a custom inseam length. If you’re looking for something longer, Railcar will do custom inseams. That’s where I’ve had to go to get 38″ or greater. But again, that minor quibble aside, fantastic jean with wonderful fit.
