Supply Jacket // Sashiko Indigo x Persimmon

We are excited to introduce you to this absolutely gorgeous 15oz sashiko selvedge fabric featuring kakishibu or fermented persimmon dyed weft and indigo dyed warp yarns, produced exclusively for us in Japan. This jacket will be rinsed to bring out the texture of the sashiko stitch and the colors of the yarns. The indigo yarn will continue to fade with wear and washes. The kakishibu yarn will fade at a much slower pace, while offering a unique base color for the fading of the garment. Whereas indigo x indigo yarns will fade together, the kakishibu weft will give the jacket a dirtier appearance as the indigo fades. Giving you high contrast fades and a unique depth of color making it a truly unique fading experience.

These are projected measurements based on grading rules and taking into account shrinkage from the rinse process. Actual production measurements may vary.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS //

Wash by hand or soak in cold water. Hang dry only.
